SELECTROCIDE™
Hospitals and long-term care facilities can be breeding grounds for dangerous microbes. In the past few years, antimicrobial-resistant strains of bacteria and viruses have become prevalent in healthcare spaces.
When you’re processing food, brewing beer, or making wine, facility hygiene and sanitation is of the utmost importance. Bacteria such as E. coli, Salmonella or Listeria can be transferred between foods, or to food from surfaces, creating the possibility of food borne illness.
Disinfectant chemicals can be harsh, caustic, and even dangerous. Yet, we often turn to bleaches and similar compounds when faced with the need for an effective cleaner/antimicrobial agent.
A “home away from home” needs to be impeccably clean. With so many different people coming and going through hospitality facilities like hotels and inns, maintaining a clean environment is a priority for the safety and comfort of the guests.
Whether you’re growing ornamental plants, cannabis, or food, mold, bacteria, and other pathogens can be your worst enemy.
Selectrocide is the industry’s elite biocide, disinfectant, sterilant, and sanitizing agent ideal for decontaminating commercial businesses and facilities. This powerhouse of sanitation has multiple applications, including hard, non-porous surface decontamination for many commercial industries. High-traffic commercial businesses, locker rooms, water systems, animal confinement facilities, and agricultural buildings all benefit from the careful use of Selectrocide.
Chlorine dioxide, Selectrocide’s active ingredient, has proven itself more effective and user-friendly than bleach. Once a small packet of Selectrocide is added to water and the chemical activates, the resulting cleaning liquid is easier to use and less caustic than other products on the market.
Because the dry, undiluted substance can be dangerous to handle, Selectrocide comes in packaging that requires no skin contact with the chemicals. Simply place the packet in the appropriately sized container of water and wait the indicated time for activation.
Your order of Selectrocide comes with clear and comprehensive instructions for use as well as testing strips so you are assured of the optimal concentration of the chemical after you mix it.
Help stop the spread of infectious diseases or the growth of algae and bacteria with Selectrocide.
In an aqueous form, ClO2 functions as a highly selective oxidant and it remains as a free radical which does not hydrolyze in water. Given proper contact time, liquid ClO2 destroys surface contaminants and biofilm, then decomposes into salt ions and water. The liquid can be sprayed or fogged.
In a gaseous form, ClO2 eliminates foul odors caused by mold, mildew, smoke and other organic sources. It will also eliminate VOC’s and chemical odors.
The gas and liquid can be used separately or in tandem as prescribed by our extensively field-tested protocols.
We’re committed to providing you with a customized solution to help solve any problems related to bacteria, viruses, mold, or other microbes and pathogens. We can be fast and flexible in regards to product delivery, manufacturing, and packaging.
We’ve provided high-level solutions for some of the largest companies in the world to ensure they are offering the best services and products to their customers.
Our patented chlorine dioxide generation method, what we refer to as our “micro-reactor”, allows you to generate ultra-pure ClO2 anywhere in the world. Our product constructs allow us to ship tens-of-thousands of gallons of hospital-grade disinfectant on a single skid!

The container should be–or be comparable to, an UN-approved, liquid-resealable containment incorporating a gasket-sealing surface and locking mechanism. Construction should be of dark or opaque/UV-blocking (preferred) oxidation-resistant plastic or glass. Some materials recommended include:
Active Ingredient: Sodium chlorite → chlorine dioxide
Use Concentration for Disinfection: 100 ppm
EPA Registration No: 84986-4, 84986-5
Mode of Action: Oxidation
Product | Oxidation Potential | Oxidation Capacity |
---|---|---|
Hydrogen Peroxide | 1.78 volts | 2e- |
Hypochlorous Acid | 1.49 volts | 2e- |
Chlorine Dioxide (Selectrocide) | 0.95 volts | 5e- |
Oxidation potential refers to a molecules tendency to exchange electrons. i.e. higher oxidation potential equals more chance for oxidation of surface materials.
Oxidation capacity refers to the number of electrons traded during oxidation.
Follow Instructions Carefully
